Coconut Oil

Description

Pressed from the flesh of the coconut (Cocos nucifera), our coconut oil is obtained by first cold pressing to preserve the full richness of its fatty acids, including lauric acid. Virgin and versatile, it is used pure on the hair as a nourishing oil bath, on the skin to soften it, or as a gentle makeup remover. Its texture changes with temperature: it sets and turns white and solid below about 24°C, then melts back into a liquid in the warmth. Simply melt it between your hands before applying. A true essential of a natural beauty routine.

How to use

A vegetable oil, it is used pure, without dilution. Hair: apply to the lengths and ends as an oil bath, leave on for 30 minutes to overnight, then wash; 1 to 2 times a week. Skin: massage a small amount onto clean, dry skin. Makeup removal: melt a hazelnut-sized amount between your fingers, massage the face, then wipe off with a cotton pad. If the oil has set, warm it between your hands or fingers to melt it. Reactive skin: carry out a patch test on the inner elbow beforehand.
